Finance department is SO steady - everyone really did turn up wearing red tops and white bottoms; except for Wailing (sick), Wendy (on urgent leave), Qiuling (she's still new and shy i think) and Erica (who wore white skirts alright, but matched with a pinkish-purple top! HAHAA!).

was literally trying to clear as much work on my desk as possible because i'm leaving......for Taipei, Taiwan NEXT MONDAY~! omg~~ i couldnt wait anymore. and my colleagues are so lovely. David sent me a very detailed email on some information on the culture, and some tips and tricks that can be used in Taipei. Upon knowing that Taipei dont provide plastic carriers after you made your purchases, Jen and Celest kept digging out some reusable bags to lend me. and Cindy kept recommending me what good food (mainly some maggie brands and snacks! lol..) which i could buy some to bring back to Singapore. and at 5pm plus, David called back office to say that his friend (who lived in Taipei) told him that there's a typhoon in Taiwan now! URRGH~ that's bad )):

but i still left the office happily, bringing along the well wishes from all my colleagues. well, had read up some news (just now) on the internet on this untimely typhoon, and the condition wasnt that promising. there's one article saying that this typhoon Morakot will be only passing by Taiwan, therefore it will leave by Saturday night or Sunday morning. on the other hand, another article said that though it will leave, it'll be raining season for the rest of the week in Taiwan. SIGH.

QL, you better pray HARD too. otherwise NO CAP! humph.
