met up with Huan Ying today at Marina Square. had lunch at Swensens while she told me about her HK trip. so envious. i wanted to go Taiwan quickly :D after lunch, i bought the memory card for my mum and had my certificates laminated. then we went over to Suntec, planning on going to the Body Shop fair there but since we couldnt find it, so we settled at Coffee Bean for a smoke break and chatted. We spoke for hours; each conversation lasted longer than the previous. it was very nice this way. stopped at some cafe, sipped some drinks and talked our hearts out instead of shuffling through the numerous stores in Suntec... perfect. Singapore is such a boring place to live in.

and we were suddenly talking about birthdays and such. so i knew now, that her boyfriend Albert and my boyfriend Alan have the SAME birthday - 06 April!! omg.. it's such a coincidence. and Alan has the same birthday as his mother (i forgot about this when i told HY) too!! hmm.. when will i meet someone whose birthday will land on the same day as mine? hahaa.....
then we went to Popular since she wanted to get a book to read while waiting for Albert. i felt bad actually, to leave her at Coffee Bean (again, yeah..) at 5.30pm. waited at Clementi for Alan and we made our way to Westmall for dinner and movie. bought glossy photo paper (4packets at $4.50/packet. cheap! lol~) and two tickets for
Coming Soon. Be reminded not to visit their website as it's not for the faint-hearted. and i bet Mei Jing will be yelling vulgarities at me now. Jing, just try your very best not to look at the pictures, alone~ ;p

did i mention before? i'm not really afraid of horror movies. i'm kind of like.. immune to it. *smug* i do get startled at crucial times (seriously who dont?) but i get over with it very quickly. and i remembered saying Alan scratched my lap once before because he got a shock from a previous horror movie. so guessed what? this time, he brilliantly sprained my fourth finger. great~ you see, so he was holding my hand tightly as he knew something horrible would happened soon, and it did... uurgh~ i was too concentrated on craddling my twisted finger afterward than to be afraid of the rest of this dumb movie. and it ends with the ghost screaming, "Do you really like seeing me dead?" or something like that. the last image with her screaming was damn funny and unnecessary.

went home after that and started to print and print and print. hahaha~ it's so cool to be able to print anyhow i liked it. *smirk* i love my new canon printer ^^

IT show 2009~ what a great idea for getting my mum a birthday gift!

took half day leave today and left quickly after finishing Patricia's chicken rice. Alan had waited for me for an hour plus at City hall; i felt bad. it was so crowded in Suntec, i guessed everyone has been waiting eons for this cheap deals. got my mum a
Canon A480 digital camera. i chose silver despite the fact that i really like the one in red (Alan kept harping on the fact that it's for my mother though, which made me take the silver one), and it cost S$219 nett. but Alan paid 70% of it. *beaming* and my dad had won the lottery yesterday night and had given me $100.. with that and my own money, well, i couldnt see why cant i buy a printer which allows me to print photos too. so after much considerations, i bought Canon iP3680 which cost me S$129 nett. i tried printing two pieces just now and it's was way too fun! Alan kept pouring cold water on me though, saying that my fun meant spending more money on the toner cartridges. thanks dear~
my mum, on the other hand, was so elated i bought both. first she was really happy with the camera; glad to be able to use it this coming Sunday for her trip to Kota Tinggi. then when she knew that she dont have to go out for developing photos, she was so totally joyous. you should look at that face of hers, it's classic.

enough for today. will update on how the printer is working after i buy more photo papers to start with. Friday tomorrow, finally..
