Laetitia's Diary

Went to the hospital just now around 9pm, and dear's parents were already waiting outside the ICU unit. There were alot of Indians there, dont know why also. *I left Cherry alone at home! Sorry darling!*

His dad went down with his brother and uncle to drink coffee, so i waited outside with his mum. We chatted while waiting. Hmm...not much. Some casual talks, like my mum went to Thailand this evening and that there was no one at home to look after Cherry and so on. We went in after about 15 or 20 minutes later.
Alan was sleeping, guessed it was the work of the anaesthetic. But he blinked his left eye when his mum touched his hand slightly. He looked at me and tried to open his mouth but he felt dry. His mum dabbed some water on his lips and his first sentence was," Are you still going over to Malaysia tomorrow?" Oh well~ =.=" No, of course. Cherry will be alone then and i know he needed me.

I dont know whether was it because he did not want me to worry for him or whatsoever, cause' he suddenly flashed me a very wide and cheerful smile and that increased the pain i had initially. Forced myself to blink back the tears, no..i wouldnt, and shouldnt drop a tear in front of the both of them. No i couldnt..He was being more optimistic than i thought he was, and kept saying stupid things like his head and eye itched but he couldnt reached for it. The procedures of tears stinging my eyes and then blinking it back while i looked away continued a few times for the short 30 minutes visit. I hoped no one saw that! His dad was being EXTRA caring today. Dabbed his lips, wiped his forehead and whispered softly that he would send me home and not to worry so much. Did not see his brother come in though and we were chased by a nurse, saying that it was over visiting time plus there were four of us (only two were allowed at a time).

They havent taken their dinner, so his dad suggest we go "dinner" together. I was damn full! Eaten some springrolls (poh-piah) that his mum bought and a glass of grass jelly (chin chow).

That's about all for today. Time for bed. Tomorrow will be going over again, hoping the best for him. Stay strong, my dear, for all your friends, family and me, ENDURE!

Oh well, didnt manage to meet Mei Jing after all. We had all changed already. Really!

I dont really enjoy going out as much now. Well, a normal meeting of a meal and movie should be fine, but staying out for too long like into the late nights isnt what an "aunty" like me can take it. haha~ Saturday night i've to go to my cousin's funeral, so i asked Jing whether she wants to meet earlier so that i could go off around 9pm and....well, guess her school life seemed quite relaxed to me. Or is she too stressed that's why she wanted to stay out late? Anyway, it's okay now. She asked to meet another day, and i'm totally okay to it. Spent the whole saturday afternoon updating my travel blog and still wasn't finished. LOL~

My cousin was 50yrs old i think. And there were two groups of religion there to send him off. Catholics and Christian. He's a Christian, but his mother, my aunty, was a Catholic, thus the complicated relationship. haha~ his only son had changed SO much i almost couldnt recognise him. He used to be a small brat, now taller and better-looking, but still that same face. He seemed really lonely though, with his head kept facing down and looking so solemn. Losing his dad must be hell for him. I couldnt imagine myself having to prepare for my *** or *** funeral.

Watched Mirror yesterday. It's kinda similar to a Japanese/Korean horror movie, where the main character got trapped in the mirror in the end. I jumped once, and it wasnt the movie which made me jump, it was Alan. hahah~ He got really BIG reactions, which he would land his hand on my lap. I remember there was a time he scratched my thigh with his nail (accidental, of course) and i joked that in future whenever we're going to catch a horror movie together, please remind me to wear my jeans! :p

It's time to continue my travel blog again, else i would not be able to finish before giving the blog address to Evelina and Michael(Holland friends, knew them through a snorkeling trip in Tioman).
Will be meeting up our new friends, Pinjie and Lijun (knew them from Tioman too) on wednesday. Wonder where we go could. *looking forward*
