Went Huan Ying's house today. It's been a few years since she moved and i had never visited that new (she said it's considered old already :p) house of hers. Took a taxi over (S$25!) as i was late and was afraid i couldnt find that place. The driver who took me; he didnt know where's Compassvale Bow either. and despite me pointing out the exact place on the directory, he still couldnt navigate. what luck!! so we were circling around Seng Kang/Punggol for quite some time until he made a call to his friend, and slowly, following the map and looking out to the blocks, i knew we were heading towards the right direction. phew~

i smoked first before going up to her house. Baby, as usual, was so hyperactive and kept running about, couldnt sit still. hahaa..and her house was done up pretty well i should add. i mean, compared to her previous home, this was much bigger and looked more comfortable :D Her mum came out from her shower and gave me a (one of her aunt gave me too hur~) red packet. and we took dinner at 5pm+ as her relatives were coming over for mahjong session. there were lots of food!! it was sure a feast. the only dish that was not in the picture: chilli salmon.
I practically loved the soup! it's smooth and, and... it's delicious! and the 海参鸭 (whole duck cooked with sea cucumber) was simply too good to be describe. overall, it was a really sumptuous meal. we went to her room after our very early dinner, to smoke :p and we chatted and browsed photo albums. i'm happy for her; it seemed that she and Albert are going on well. We took a taxi to CCK Lot 1 after that. and i finally met her boyfriend for the first time. hahaa..nothing much happened after that. we just walked through most of (couldnt be all ba?) the shops and finally bought some snacks and bubble tea before we went to the "smoking area" to rest, while i accompanied her to wait for her boyfriend to knock off. took a photo with her before i left. it was nice meeting up like this, even if we didnt talk into late nights or what. ^^

24th Jan 09
Finally, it's time to shop. This is the last day; i had to get every single thing! But hey, think positively, it means my arms will be loaded will full of shopping bags. Woohoo~ How cool is that? *smirk*
I didnt buy alot. Firstly, it not very worth it if you think about it seriously. Secondly, money really and truly matters.. However, with Alan's shopping bags combined with mine, it looked like we just went abroad or something. hahaa... FUN~
I broke my own promise. This shoes cost more than S$50!!! (exact: S$63.90) but i totally loved it! *beaming*The too-loose pants. See lah dear, told you should get one size smaller! uurghh~~ (S$69.90)A red blouse for the auspicious feel. :D (S$46)I seldom buy belts, so got two in a shot. (S$10.90/ea) That's all. Went Alan's house to have their reunion dinner (steamboat!!) with his parents, elder brother and his girlfriend, and younger brother (he kept saying he got no girlfriend :p). And i ate so much my stomach hurt. So i stayed overnight and rest.

25th Jan 09
It's DADDY'S BIRTHDAY~! but it's a horrible day. as everyone of us tried to look our best, my dad wore a short pants with a plain short-sleeved shirt, to spite us. Yes, spite us... Pardon me for not explaining, but it's really difficult for me to put down the problems in words. Anyway he managed to change into long pants but wore a pair of worn slippers! oh hello, in case he doesn't know, we're going to the restaurant in Conrad Centennial Hotel to have our dinner. Uuurgghhh...We started eating awkwardly, only the three of us were chatting while he showed us his very black face. Up until he saw his friend then he started to talk to us.. Enough of these, as usual, let the photos do the talking. (Just a few pictures; i'm lazy to upload all. go to my facebook if you want to see the whole thing.)

This picture with the CAI SHEN is after meeting his friend, thus the relunctant smile. -.-"LAU LAU LAU~~~ May all the good come, and all the bad leave....The staffs behind suddenly sang birthday song and startled him (and his friend; they were chatting with their back facing us. haha!!).And a little something from them. One thing, the cake was given by them too :pI'm the KID~ ^^The cake that couldn't go down any of our stomach anymore. hurhur~~Mum, please take that down! it's so embarrassing...Final picture before leaving. It was a sumptuous meal no doubt, but i went to the toilet and "let go" of everything afterwards. wasted~ hahaa...
Then i met up Alan and began our yearly visit to Marina Promenade. However, this year, we don't really feel the CNY mood. or is it just me? :pHis favourite: MANGO~ That's all. After walking a few more rounds, he sent me home before going home himself. Hope tomorrow i still can receive many many red packets! haahhha...if only~
