oh. my. god. ohmygod!! This is my luckiest day of 2009. guessed what? this - Stomp Love Story Contest.
i received their email at 10.59 a.m. and i was SO elated to know that i won! gosh.. it's awesome!! i called Alan immediately and he answered groggily; fresh from sleep i supposed. and he was so calmed; i decided NOT to share the prize with him. :p hahha.. but nonetheless, when he called back about half an hour or so, he was... grinning - or that's what i imagined him to be. and he kept chuckling in the phone. it's been quite some time since i heard this kind of laughters from him. i guessed he was as happy/excited too. then, he became more of himself - telling me to NOT use that money as it was meant to be our extras when we are going to Taiwan in the near future. after our phone call, i decided to (i couldnt hide my excitement at all!!) tell Jen. happy news are meant to be shared, right? and so, my whole department knew about it. Wai Ling even called me "wang wang" (chinese for lucky, literally), it's... uurgh.. a hideous name!! heck, i dont even care now, since Erica was being called "bing bing" (it means "cold cold" literally. she's afraid of the air-conditioner in our office. hahah~). i mean, think about it, mine does sounds better right? ^^ think i gotta try my luck on the lottery tomorrow too. LOL~
today the rain started early. and i reminded Jen to save whatever work she's on, in case the electricity tripped again. yea, it happened yesterday and all her work was gone! imagine that. haha.. but it was short though. we were talking and eating ice-cream for that short 15 minutes (or was it 30 minutes?) break. it was a good break no doubt.
okay, back to my book now, then to bed. today i had stayed in office till 8.40pm; it sucked. this is my first time, and i hope it will be my last. *cross my fingers*
