Was doing nothing again when i was at work. got a hard time persuading Mei Jing to go to Ver's chalet with me, though. hahhaa.. and i'm glad she did come with me.

met up with her at Bugis first, since she needed to get a present. and she got a belt from m)phosis which is so nice, we both wanted it. LOL~ that's the thing we had in common. we tend to get presents according to what we liked, and there's a high possibility that we will end up getting another present. hahaa.. it's tough!
So we managed to reach there but couldnt find the place that she said. we roamed awhile on ourselves and kept walking. i tell you, it's shit. luckily siew ping came out to fetch us then we realised we were just around the corner. darn!

therefore, it wasnt really our fault as the place looked more like a dormitory than a bungalow resort. i believed that's what in Mei jing's mind too. anyway, we went straight into the room, not knowing who the others were sitting all around the places, and saw ver sitting in front of the dressing table. and then she so suddenly yelled at her boyfriend; it kind of startled me. hahah.. and we talked a little in there, mostly i was talking to Jing only. and siew ping even asked what's my pay like and i was quite dumbfounded, but i told her anyhow. then, more people came in to give ver their wishes and greetings, and i started to feel a little uneasy in there. Jing and I saw some people (alina? whatever the spelling was, bernie, guo wei, ah jun etc) and memories flashed back and forth; it's fun reminiscing like that. Upon seeing Mei Jing in the room, GuoWei ran away. urm.. i dont really think i need to do any explanations here.

here are some photos taken that night, before i continued more..Ver's family came next. Her mother brought in a huge LV paperbag and a few other gifts. it's awesome - my "special" gift suddenly appeared much more insignificant next to her many other presents. her brother bought her a Juicy Contour clutch, her mom got her a LV bag, her boyfriend gave her a cybershot pink digital camera and a bouquet of 21 roses..... and a stamp from me. See the difference here? Anyway, happy birthday jie.

Then Jing and i went out, hoping to get some food and she gotta pay the price. Well, she owed me barbequed food - since she lost our bet. *wink* and she took this photo of me, hiding behind my hand. she was saying it's amazing how it appeared that i'm like wearing a ring and i was like, duh~ look at my hand. i am wearing a ring! and we broke into laughters. she thought that i had my hair twirled around my fingers and i made it look like a ring. great imagination, Jing.We sat there and update a little on each other's life. then GuoWei came over and passed me a plate of food. i only ate a piece of crabmeat stick and a hotdog - it was delicious, but oily. at this point, suddenly Jing was quarrelling over the phone with BH. i did not know what to say at first. then we had this awkward silence; it's scary. haha... so i started rambling on about the crisis my family had awhile ago. and - it was time to go. Alan's kept reminding me about the midnight charges; it's getting on my nerves. took a few quick pictures with the three of them before leaving.I liked this photo of Jing and ver. it looked nice to me, somehow.Jing liked this one, i think. she was saying something about smiling very cheerfully. yeah, she do look cheerful in this picture.
after all the photos, we walked out slowly, since neither of us are in a hurry, though it seemed like i am, with Alan's voice constantly ringing in my head. :p we got into a cab and found a wallet. the driver asked us to take another cab as he was hoping to return it to the rightful owner. once we were out, jing asked me whether the taxi driver will keep it, well.. he might. i dont know. and i dont really care. it's really up to him. and we went home, but already making small plans on meeting again - soooon. i hope so too. ^^
